Thank you for your interest in recycling your used Xerox supplies. Xerox is committed to responsible and environmental business practices. The Xerox Green World Alliance is a valuable recycling program that minimizes environmental impacts of printer supplies and provides options to throwing away empty containers. Our supplies recycling programs have kept thousands of tons of supplies out of landfills. We lead the industry in alternatives for used supplies, including print cartridge reprocessing, waste toner reuse, plastics and metals recovery and turning waste into energy.

Options for Recycling Genuine Xerox Supplies
Eco Box Returns
Eco Box Returns
Do you have 5-30 items to return? Our Eco Box option makes it simple.
First, choose whether you want to Use Your Own Box or Order Eco Boxes.
When you replace your spent consumable, save the box the new consumable comes in. Place your used consumable inside the box, then put that in to the Eco Box (or your own box) to return the used supply to Xerox.
Use Your Own Box
Use any cardboard box from your workplace to ship used Xerox supplies in place of ordering an Eco Box kit. Both the box and the contents will be recycled, and one less new cardboard box will need to be produced. Step 1 - Prepare your items for shipping:
The maximum box dimensions are 23" x 23" x 18".
The maximum weight is 25 lbs.
There is a minimum of 5 items for recycling per box.
Items should be sealed in a plastic bag (such as a trash bag) to contain toner dust in shipping.
Remove any prior shipping or address labels from the box.
Box should be taped securely closed.
Step 2 - Order UPS shipping labels:
A shipping label will be emailed to the email address provided.
Step 3 - Return your items for recycling:
Ship Eco Box(s) via UPS. Send three boxes or save the extra labels to return "Create Your Own" Eco Boxes at a later time.
Order Eco Boxes
Each Eco Box can hold 5-30 used items. Provide your shipping information and submit your order. Eco Box orders cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box. Please be sure to provide a valid shipping address to avoid cancellation of your order. See the FAQs to learn how to track your Eco Box Order.
Step 1 - Order Eco boxes Step 2 - Ship - For your convenience, your Eco Box comes with a pre-paid return label applied to the box. To return your Eco Box for recycling:
Hand the return to the UPS driver when they deliver your next supplies order.
Returns can be dropped off at any UPS location or UPS Store.
A pick up can be scheduled by calling 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877) or online at www.ups.com. Indicate to UPS that this is a "Pre-paid return shipment."
Single-Item Returns
Single-Item Returns
If you have 5 or less items to return, we recommend the bundled single-item return process.
Use the original box to return genuine Xerox supplies.
If you are returning a used cartridge, place the used item in the bag of the new cartridge and seal the bag with tape. Package the used cartridge between the caps in the box of the new cartridge and seal the box.
If you return 2 or more items, please tape the boxes together or use one large box and return as one parcel.
Print the label(s) on Letter paper and fold to half letter size.
Stick the paper on the box with tape with the return address showing up.
Take your parcel to the nearest drop off point.
Only authorized Xerox return labels will be accepted (printed from the web).

PLEASE NOTE: Xerox’s Green World Alliance cartridge return program is a service for Xerox customers. Third-party recyclers, waste consolidating businesses, and similar entities are not authorized to utilize this program. Xerox reserves the right to refuse unauthorized shipments and/or return such shipments to the originator at the originator’s expense
