I bought this Xerox C310 laser printer when my old xerox laser printer died after 10 years of great service! I was so pleased with Xerox quality I bought this C310. This laser printer is very easy to set up and it consistently provides excellent printing. While not a photography dedicated printer, the quality of the color pictures is very good. It is not a loud printer, which means I can keep it next to me in my home office, instead of isolated in another room. It is easy to change the toner cartridges, too! In the 6 months since I first installed it, I have never had it jam. I print on regular copy paper and also Avery label stock. I have recommended the Zerox C310 to my friends and would not hesitate to buy a second one, if the need arrived. In short, BUY THIS LASER PRINTER!
My Xerox B310 desktop printer has been trouble-free since my purchase a year ago! Excellent print quality and I haven't had any paper jams, fast, and I like automatic shut-down for energy savings! The manual paper feed works great!, and the toner replacement is at a reasonable price-point, too!
This was a great printer for the first six months. It quietly and quickly printed clean easy-to-read historic documents, essays, and graded papers. However, since then, it has refused to connect to my computer and larger network through physical or wireless means.
I have searched the Xerox website for FAQs and reached out to their (very well-hidden) helpline and both were useless.
I bought this printer for schoolwork and am unfortunately stuck with it and a $500 toner cartridge as the seller refuses to take it back. I probably will not be buying from Xerox again.

Great little printer for an HR office, but the paper tray doesn't covert to legal as I thought (my fault) - just an FYI so you don't make the same mistake.

Our organization has 500-600 of these units. In approximately one year we have experienced a number of issues.
Prior to the October firmware release we would experience a large number of "Kernel Error" messages that would leave the printer non responsive. This could happen at any time with no known cause. The October firmware largely resolved this - but not entirely.
Pre installing drivers on Windows has given very mixed results, particularly with images. Most of the time it works - sometimes it will not. Sometimes Windows Update will correct the install.
A spring in the tray is very fragile and is prone to coming loose. Transporting the printer in any manner can easily cause this to happen. The sensor that measures if the output bin is full can get stuck in the upward position fairly easily. The door closed sensor stopped working on a handful of units.
The screens have a strange visual issue in the material. Not a huge problem but it's on every single unit.
If the starter toners are moved between units they can trigger "incompatible cartridge" errors. Not an issue most will run into but it's strange because it is not consistent and can "spread" to other fuser units. The October firmware helped with this but for some reason it just happens less rather than being eliminated.
As for the good - they are lightweight and reasonably fast for the cost. The toners do not leak and seem competitively priced for the page count. The web portal is convenient and I appreciate the fact the IP is automatically displayed. I'd prefer the IP to display regardless if the toner was installed to facilitate firmware updates.
