How does that work in the real world?

Annual savings of £270,000 from a £10,000 investment 

Close Brothers helps brokers and insurers to offer instalment payments to more than 2 million customers, spreading the cost of their insurance premiums. However, some customers were confused when their welcome pack came from the credit provider, rather than their broker or insurer. This led to high call volumes from customers seeking clarification. Plus, around 10% of the issued credit agreements were either not returned or were incomplete, leading to unnecessary costs and delays.  

Go Inspire, a Xerox company, created a version of the welcome pack with customisable fields for the name of the customer’s broker, or insurer. That helped alleviate confusion and made it easier for the customer to understand their next steps. 

This resulted in an annual saving of £270,000, fewer inbound and outbound calls, and reduced processing costs. 

Digital transformation without the disruption 

Insure 4 Retirement (I4R) specialises in providing insurance solutions to the over 50s. A key objective for I4R is to improve customer engagement by improving document design and communication processes. It invested in an ambitious modernization program to create digitalized, automated workflows that would allow it to improve efficiency and enhance customer communications. Working with Go Inspire, a Xerox company, meant there was no unexpected disruption to customer communications during the project.
