Xerox Won a Six Year Agreement with Government of Canada to Transform Print Infrastructure
The Government of Canada has selected Xerox Canada Ltd. as one of three vendors to optimize and transform its print infrastructure nationwide. With a portfolio of capabilities that uses powerful advanced analytics, workflow automation, content management, security solutions and print infrastructure optimization, Xerox will streamline and accelerate digital transformation while optimizing print processes, enabling additional productivity, efficiency and data security.
Initiated by Shared Services Canada (SSC), the agreement will grant federal employees access to Xerox hardware and intelligent software to improve the delivery of public services to Canadians. Equally important, Xerox was selected to improve the sustainability of departments and agencies by reducing energy use and consumables.
“This strategic partnership reinforces our focus on providing innovative and secure technology solutions to government agencies,” said Martin Bachant, president of Xerox Canada Ltd. “From coast to coast to coast, federal departments and agencies will have access to technology for the mobile, always-connected workforce as well as benefit from the ability to design a custom managed print solution.”
The robust and continually growing number of Xerox workflow automation apps are an important value proposition that is a true differentiator for Xerox.
The agreement grants access to the ENERGY STAR-compliant Xerox® ConnectKey®-enabled VersaLink® and AltaLink® family of business printers. Xerox has worked with the Green Electronics Council, a leading global ecolabel for the IT sector, to ensure devices are meeting stringent efficiency standards. Beyond US & Canada, Xerox is the only EPEAT certified printer supplier in 11 European countries.
