Power Cord and Electrical Supply
*WARNING: To avoid risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use extension cords, power strips, or power plugs. Always adhere to national and local building, fire, and electrical codes regarding length of cord, conductor size, grounding, and protection.
Use the power cords that are supplied with your press.
Do not remove or modify the power cord.
The electrical outlet must be near the press and must be easily accessible.
Plug the power cord directly into a correctly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure that each end of the cord is connected securely. If you do not know whether an outlet is grounded, ask an electrician to check the outlet.
Do not use a ground adapter plug to connect this equipment to an electrical outlet that lacks a ground connection terminal.
The electrical supply for the press must meet the requirements stated on the data plate located on the rear of the press. If necessary, consult your local electricity provider or a licensed electrician.
Do not place the press in an area where people can step on the power cord.
Do not place objects on the power cord.
Do not plug or unplug the power cord while the power switch is in the On position.
If the power cord becomes frayed or worn, replace it.
To avoid electrical shock and damage to the cord, grasp the plug when unplugging the power cord.
