Production Press Control Center
The Production Press Control Center is the interface for press interactions. This computer, monitor, and keyboard allows you to operate, administer, and maintain the Production Press.
The main window of the Production Press Control Center displays the Production Press information that you refer to most often. The main window enables you to complete many tasks and view paper and dry ink or toner supply status without having to change windows.
1. Function Menu: The menu provides quick access to more Press functions, including PredictPrint Stock Wizard.
2. Message Area: Job status information and faults appear to alert you to areas of the Production Press that require attention.
3. Log In link: This link enables System Administrators and Technical Key Operators to log in to the Production Press and access more functions. A walk-up Operator does not need to log in.
4. Production Press Mimic: This graphic represents the Production Press configuration and displays caution and error icons. Click the areas in the graphic to read dialogs related to that component.
5. Paper Tray Status: Click the appropriate paper tray graphic to view the type, size, and amount of stock in the tray.
Note:Fiery® Print Server version 4.0 include Fiery System version FS600 and have unique features that are not available on older Fiery® Print Servers. On Fiery® Print Server version 4.0, FS600 or newer version, if the stock loaded in the tray is registered with PredictPrint Stock Wizard, then you can right-click on the tray to Run Image Quality System Check. To enable this feature, refer to Automatic Image Quality System Check.
6. Dry Ink Level Indicators: Indicators representing each dry ink consumable show the approximate ink levels of CMYK and specialty inks.
