White Lines, Streaks, Spots, or Deletions
Problem: White Lines, Streaks, Spots, or Deletions Appear on Printed Output
Suggested Solutions
Ensure that the paper loaded is within Production Press specifications.
For information on paper specifications and storage, refer to System Specifications and Stock and Feeders.
Clean the corotrons:
On the Control Center, log in to Administrator mode.
Select Maintenance.
From the System menu, select Image Quality.
Clean the Corotrons.
Perform a 2nd Bias Transfer Roll Auto Adjustment:
From the System menu, select Auto Adjustments.
Slide the 2nd Bias Transfer Roll Auto Adjustment button to the right.
Select Start.
Note:The adjustment takes approximately 1.5 minutes to run, to produce a test print, and to indicate when the routine is complete.
