Configuring the Store to Folder Environment Settings
This section describes configuration procedures to use the Store to Folder service on the device.
Enabling Ports and Setting up TCP/IP
Using Network Scanner Utility 3 (Scan Driver and Stored File Manager), which supports WebDAV protocol and the EasyOperator application, you can enable the SNMP, SOAP, and WebDAV ports and set up an IP address.
Note: The ports and TCP/IP configuration also can be performed using CentreWare® Internet Services. Refer to Configure CentreWare Internet Services Settings.
1. Log in as the Administrator.
2. Press the Machine Status button on the press User Interface (UI).
3. Select the Tools tab on the UI.
4. Select System Settings.
5. Select Connectivity & Network Setup > Port Settings.
6. Select SMNP.
a. Select Change Settings.
b. Select Port Status, then select Change Settings.
c. Select Enabled, then select Save.
d. Select Close until the Port Settings screen is displayed.
7. Select SOAP.
a. Select Change Settings.
b. Select Port Status, then select Change Settings.
c. Select Enabled, then select Save.
d. Select Close until the Port Settings screen is displayed.
8. Select WebDAV.
a. Select Change Settings.
b. Select Port Status, then select Change Settings.
c. Select Enabled, then select Save.
d. Select Close until the Port Settings screen is displayed.
9. Select Close until the main Tools screen displays.
10. If necessary, set the IP Address; choose one of the following:
To set an IP address, refer to Connectivity & Network Setup.
If an IP address is already set, skip this step.
If DHCP or BOOTP is available in your environment, configure the method for obtaining the address. If an IP address cannot be obtained automatically or manual configuration is preferred, confirm the settings of an IP address, a subnet mask, and a gateway address.
11. Select Close repeatedly until the main Tools screen is displayed.
12. Exit the System Administrator Mode.
13. Print a configuration report to confirm that all the ports are enabled and that TCP/IP is set up correctly.
Registering a Folder and Configuring a Computer
1. Create a folder where the scanned data will be saved; refer to the Create Folder section for detailed information and instructions.
2. Configure a computer.
To use Network Scanner Utility 3 on a computer, refer to Driver CD kit that is provided with the press for detailed information and instructions.
To use the EasyOperator application on a computer, refer to Driver CD kit that is provided with the press for detailed information and instructions.
